Equinox

While at R/GA, I helped the Equinox team develop a whole new connected spin class that uses data visualization to motivate members to perform their best. Early in the development, we centered around the insight that people workout harder when their effort is quantified and on display. The result is “The Pursuit,” one of the first competitive spin classes that not only showed how hard you worked, but also how your performance can help raise the overall effort of the class. In a way, it helped turn studio cycling from an individual into a team sport.
